🌿 A Wyld Week Ahead: Supporting Our Jasmine’s Journey

This week marks a big moment for our family — and especially for our beautiful daughter Jasmine. Many of you have met her at markets, dancing beside our stall, chatting to customers, or helping her siblings. Jasmine was born with a rare genetic condition called Williams Syndrome, and she lights up every room she enters.

Williams Syndrome is a unique neurodevelopmental condition that affects only about 1 in 10,000 people. It’s often described as a blend of challenges and magic — those with it tend to have incredible empathy, infectious smiles, and an extraordinary love for music. Jasmine is no exception. Music is her world — it brings her joy, balance, and connection.

But along with her sunny spirit, Jasmine also faces physical challenges. She has three curves in her spine — two over 27 degrees, and one measuring 53 degrees. Next week, she will be fitted for a spinal brace that she’ll wear for 23 hours a day over the next two years. The goal is to help stabilise her spine and avoid the need for major surgery.

It’s a daunting journey for any child, but Jasmine approaches everything with courage and a sparkle that humbles us every day.
